Happy New Year Everyone, Welcome to our monthly blog hop, our hope is to inspire you to make your own creations.
I am learning how to use the NEW Explore Cricut machine. I want to share how you can take a card from your CTMH Cricut cartridge and completely change it to suit your needs.
This card was made the way "Artfully Sent" meant it to be |
The swing card on page 25 in the "Artfully Sent" cuts out a separate Happy Birthday that you glue onto the swing part of the card. |
This card was cut out right on the card and I removed the fancy base. New items on this card are Heartstrings paper, white shimmer trim and puffy stickers. |
This card was made using the Explore. |
This is the page you can find the swing card. If I can figure out how to share the file, I would be happy to do that. |
Now hop on over to Krista's blog and see what wonderful things she has created.

Wow, what great cards. I feel like such a dinosaur!!!
ReplyDeleteJoyce, these are fabulous cards! I really love how you decorate the inside too!
ReplyDeleteI love your modified card and appreciate the wonderful photo illustration of creating with a Cricut Explore! I love your suggestion to write the recipient's age in the white balloon. Have fun with your new toy and thanks for organizing this blog hop.

So cool to modify the cards to be your own creation!
ReplyDeleteSo neat...I had never seen that inside box scene before...will have to go check that out! :)
ReplyDeleteCute card - love how you altered the Happy Birthday so it would cut out directly on the card base! You need to give me a lesson on how to do that.
