January 2021 Joyful stars blog hop

Welcome to Joyful Stars Blog hop for 2021

It's a new year 2021 Let's start out this year being creative. This hop showcases artwork from talented CTMH consultants (Makers) Look for the highlighted name a the bottom of this post and hop to the next blog.

This month I want to share with you the National Papercrafting month special. You can find this in the new Jan/Feb catalog on page 42 and 43.
HOME SWEET HOME
This kit comes with a frame or you can use one that you have, my frame was bigger, so I glued the boarders on the edge and there is a gap at the corners, which I don't mind.  If I had it to do over again, I would buy the whole kit, it's cheaper to get it all at once.

The circle in the word home has magnetic images that can be interchanged. Here are some examples:

As you can see you get way more than 12.

Here is a side view, so you can see the dimensions of the snowflake.

Now is the time to hop to my friend Joyce's  blog

Here is a list of bloggers incase you get lost.

Here are some cards I would like to share with you.

This is from Jingle Joy Scrapbooking page 9 in the Nov/Dec catalog. Z3896 with thin cuts. This set also comes with ornaments and the words Just Believe.

These cards were created with our NEW Distress Oxide inks, the stamp set is from Spruced  Up D1902. This set is from last year and is still available online.  Joyce.ctmh.com

This is one of many gift card holders, I used Serenity paper (X7263B) for this card, silver foil paper and the bow was from the Cricut.  When you lift the lid your gift card pops up.

Enjoy your Holidays and have a Blessed New Year!

This month, as most month's I want to share a few things that I have been working on.
Christmas Gnomes are not just for Christmas. I made this gnome for a birthday card, replaced the star on the end of the hat with a heart.  The white glitter paper was colored with the tri-blend mark that I used for the hat

Some samples of the Distress Oxide inks. The slim card at the top was made using The Jubilee Crew C1879 or with thin cuts Z3901 page 29 The snow mounds were made with Fancy borders Z3682 page 60 Core catalog. Merry Christmas is from the Seasonal borders D1976 Page 35 Core catalog.
The bottom left card was made with Spruced up Scrapbooking D1902 Jan/Feb 2020 (still available)
The right card Gnome for Christmas D1982 or with thin cuts Z3902  The Distress Oxide inks were peacock feathers and chipped sapphire.

October blog hop

Welcome to our monthly Joyful Stars blog hop.  Every month we share with you what we have been working on.  So at the end of each blog, look for the highlighted name and click on it to hop to the next blog.  You will get back to this blog and we hope we have inspired you to create your own projects.

This month I want to show you some of the cards I made using our NEW Distress Oxide inks.  The possibilities are endless.  There are many techniques and I hope to show them on my future videos on my FB page.

The two cards on the left are using the October stamp of the month.

Distress Oxide ink make the backgrounds very bright.  Top right cards is a shaker card, yes we now have heart shape shaker die cuts and foam, also star shapes.

This card is not one of the four cards, I black embossed the Oct SOM heart and filled it in with Distress Oxide inks, the background was embossed in white and sponged with peacock feathers.

Hope you enjoyed these cards, have blessed month.

Now it's time to go to my friend Betty's blog, scrapbookgirl2.blogspot.com can't wait to see what she is working on.

September Joyful Stars Blog hop

Welcome to the monthly Joyful Stars blog hop.  This is a blog hop where you can go from one site to another.  You will get to see some NEW products from our seasonal Sept/Oct catalog and from the Annual Core catalog.  You can get both from FREE just by placing an order with your consultant.  So look for the highlighted name at the bottom of the post and click on it.

This month was hard to choose because we have soooooo many new products to play with.  I would like to show you a stamp set called Floral Detail and Background.  This looks good embossed in silver or gold to make an anniversary card.  It also has 4 M size stamps that compliment this stamp.
They fit in the circle where I have the numbers.  Stamping this in black and coloring in the flowers looks really good, also. (See last photo)  I like the 5 stamps that come with this set to use as accents.

These cards were made using Party time paper and Wishing you Everything stamp set.  The best thing about this paper collection is you can make your card in pink or blue, just by flipping the paper.
