Nov Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Welcome to our monthly Joyful Stars blog hop.  We love to share with you our creations and hope to inspire you to create your own creations.  Look at the bottom of each blog for the highlighted name to hop to the next blog and keep hopping until you get back here.

This month, as most month's I want to share a few things that I have been working on.
Christmas Gnomes are not just for Christmas. I made this gnome for a birthday card, replaced the star on the end of the hat with a heart.  The white glitter paper was colored with the tri-blend mark that I used for the hat

Some samples of the Distress Oxide inks. The slim card at the top was made using The Jubilee Crew C1879 or with thin cuts Z3901 page 29 The snow mounds were made with Fancy borders Z3682 page 60 Core catalog. Merry Christmas is from the Seasonal borders D1976 Page 35 Core catalog.
The bottom left card was made with Spruced up Scrapbooking D1902 Jan/Feb 2020 (still available)
The right card Gnome for Christmas D1982 or with thin cuts Z3902  The Distress Oxide inks were peacock feathers and chipped sapphire.

Now it's time to hop to my friend Nancy's blog and see her beautiful artwork.

October Blog hop

Welcome to our October Blog hop, We have lots to share and you may even get a glimpse of samples featuring our NEW "Artfully Sent" Cricut cartridge.

This month I have been having lots of fun using the NEW Artfully Sent.  One of my favorite cards I made is this nativity pop-up. It goes very well with the stamp set D1614 Reason for the Season.
I used Yuletide Carol paper packet x7187B
Glitter paper  Z1830
Bling gems gold  Z2023
Liquid glass z679

Can you believe that all those shapes were cut from the Cricut?  The insert provides the pop out ledges to put your figures on.  The star was cut out of the insert and I backed it with glitter paper. Love that stuff!!! I used Basic paper fundamentals Z1939 for the black paper, notice it has a glossy pattern to it.  This paper comes in many different colors and designs on both sides. This paper cuts great on the cricut: I will be showing more ideas with this paper in my next posts.

Now hop over to my good friend BETTY  to see her wonderful entry.

Dec Blog hop

Welcome to our Joyful Stars December Blog Hop!

As we prepare for the Holiday season,

there are so many ways we can use the gifts God has given us. We can decorate the

tree,( see my cat loving the outdoors coming inside) make greetings for your family and

friends. We can prepare food, make favors, write a thank you note letting the ones that

help us throughout the year know that we appreciate them. Have fun hopping from blog to

blog to see what we have created.

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

I had some pcs left over from a workshop, so I tried to use as many as I could to make some cards with our Sparkle and Shine paper packet.

Close To My Heart is offering FREE tags to print for you gift giving.  Just go to CTMH.com, under promotions and find ReDiscover and you can print these beautiful tags. These will only be available this month.

Here is a quick favor idea, just cut out snowflakes with the Cricut, I used Art Philosophy and the snowflake stamp set D1480.  Glue dot a Hershey kiss and set it at everyone's plate.  You can add a tag with the person's name if you like.

Hop from my blog to Nicki's if you get lost just come back and follow the list below.

We had a great day at our Annual Christmas Card Extravaganza!
Thanks to all consultants, excellent team work and to our great guests, you made our day so special.
Here are the raffle items that I made using the Cricut. The Happy Thanksgiving plate was made by using Artbooking and the Cricut craft room.  I welded the words together and cut them out with our glitter paper.
You can't see on the Trick or Treat plate that I used the black glitter paper for the house and fence.  The bats were cut with black vinyl.

One of my favorite cuts with the Artbooking cartridge is the deer. This can be personalized, "The Houcks"
I used the deer on one of the cards I made. Watch for pictures of all the cards we made today,  Now I need to get some rest and find my bag of cards that we all made.  So proud of my team!

Happy New Year!
This was one of my last workshops. We used the Pear and Partridge rub-ons.  These cards turned our beautiful and we still had some rub-ons left.  If you want to have some of these before they are gone, you need to order them before Jan. 31st.  The rub-ons are only $4.95 and you get enough images to make at least 15 cards.  The paper will be gone also.  So contact me or go to my website and order these before they are retired.

Also retiring:
Moonlight
Flirty
La Belle Via
Pear and Partridge (featured above)
