Tea light candles

This was Saturday's club project. Isn't this just adorable? If you can't figure it out, it's a tea light (battery) candle.  They forced me to use the new paper "For always" black and white classic. The paper even has fabric to match. The flower was cut with the Artiste cartridge and wrapped around the light. The candle was wrapped with 3/4" x 4 3/4" strip.  The base is a 2 1/2" scalloped circle and a black circle cut at 2 1/4"

We had to make a box to put it in and that we cut at 2 1/2"
we also cut the rose at 2 1/2" using the Art Philosophy even though there are flowers on the Artiste cartridge
notice the black tulle

Wedding planning

When I started this blog, I wanted to share my love for stamping
and didn't want to bore you with my personal life. But, I think I can help you out when you need to plan a special occasion.

Many of you already know that I am busy planning a wedding for my only daughter and I have 3 weeks to do it.  I am thankful for  CTMH especially for the favors and table decorations. I will show all the goodies after the wedding and the cruise.  Thanks to CTMH and my wonderful customers, I earned a cruise. When my daughter heard I earned another cruise, she wanted to share this with her boyfriend. This will be her second cruise that she is my guest.  One thing led to another and now they will be having their honeymoon on the cruise.  They will be married Feb 1st, the night before we board the plane for Puerto Rico and the southern Caribbean. This is Jordyn, my youngest grand-daughter trying on her flower girl dress. She is trilled to have this honor.

So these are a few of the things that I'm working on
Ring Bearer pillows
Flower girl baskets
Centerpieces
favors
wedding bouquets
boutonnieres
corsages
Wedding cake
hemming pants
Thank God it's just a small wedding and I have great friends that are willing to help me.
Also I have a secret sister on the cruise and I am making things to give her everyday.  Sorry I can't show you that either, don't want to spoil the secret part.

Iris folding

This was Tuesday's class  Iris folding 101  We decided to use wrapping paper to make these goblets. They all turned out beautiful.  The stamp set we used is from our New Catalog D1539 The Happy Couple. You can order this starting Feb 1st. or at my Open House, Jan 24 and 25th
If you don't know how to do Iris folding, just let me know and I can teach you.

Iris folding 102.  Hate cutting out the images with  an  xacto knife , you  can  use your  Cricut  machine  to do this. At class I showed them how to make their own templete.  This dress and hanger was cut using the Artiste Cartridge.  See the beautiful dresses below, I didn't put words on my blue one,  For my Special friend or Happy Birthday would be good.

Happy New Year!
This was one of my last workshops. We used the Pear and Partridge rub-ons.  These cards turned our beautiful and we still had some rub-ons left.  If you want to have some of these before they are gone, you need to order them before Jan. 31st.  The rub-ons are only $4.95 and you get enough images to make at least 15 cards.  The paper will be gone also.  So contact me or go to my website and order these before they are retired.

Also retiring:
