Feb JoyfulStars blog hop

Welcome to our Joyful Stars blog hop for the month of February.  We have great things to share, so hop from one to the next until you get back to me.  Look for the highlighted name at the bottom of each post.

Today I would like to share with you some cards that I made using Penelope paper.  That can be found in the new Expression catalog.
These birthday cards were made with Artistry Cricut cartridge, page 17
background cut at 2 1/2 inches.  The pennants were from the Penelope Compliments.  the stars were from the Thistle fundamentals and silver glitter paper.

The balloon animal is the February Stamp of the month, one of 6 animals S1602 and the words are from Animal greeting D1679 Operation Smile  stamp set.  I also used shimmer trim and Penelope paper.

Hope you enjoyed my cards and now it's time to hop over to Krista's blog

Tuesdays' class Feb 2, 2016

We made Stamp of the month cards using Penelope paper and just 3 out of the 6 balloon animals, these are such cut cards and there is so much you can do with them. Everything you see stamped on these cards come from the set.  Remember you can only get this set this month. This is not only good for birthdays, but also babies.

Wait until you see the elephant, giraffe and rabbit made into cards and scrapbook pages.

This card was for a masculine valentine card using B1507 To the Moon.  Pg 11 in the new Expressions catalog.
We used sapphire paper, embossed it with the star background embossing folder and sanded it.
We then spritzed it with white watercolor.  Edged the words and the planet with blue and colored the rocket with watercolor pencils.
Hope your enjoying this foggy day, should go out but why?
