Welcome to our Joyful Stars Blog Hop.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It's hard to believe that this is the last blog of the year, we look forward to sharing all the great things that are coming in 2016.  Most of us have the New Expressions with 3 new paper packs and many new accessories and adorable stamp sets.  You might get a sneak peak from some of us excited about all the new things available January 1st 2016.

Blog hop is a great way to see many ideas, just by hopping from one blog to the next.  So look at the bottom of each post and click on the highlighted name. That will take you to the next blog. Keep hopping until you get back here and you went full circle.  Have fun and we hope to inspire you to create.

Here are some of the creative ladies that share with you every month.
Thank you for sharing your talent.

This month since we celebrate the birth of Jesus I wanted to share with you the great pop up card made with Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.  This is the inside of the card.  Everything was cut out of lagoon paper. The background is from Chalk it up paper, which is on the while supplies last list  and the star is gold glitter paper backed behind the cut out.

Here is the front of the card! Enjoy the rest of thre hop..........

Now hop to Marie's blog and see what she has created.

Here is a list of bloggers in case you get lost........

Christmas cards

We made these cards at class.  A Child is Born...Christ the Lord.  The middle card was cut from the Artistry "Joy to the World"    and the last card is the famous tree folding card.  You can find the video with directions on the right side on the videos.  To make a great looking tree, cut your squares using Art Philosophy scalloped squares.

Tea pot

I made this tea pot using the NEW Artistry Cricut cartridge.  The lid was cut off,  watercolored and stamped. I discovered that if you use your alcohol markers, you can watercolor over top and it stays put.  I inked up my embossing folder on one side and ran the front of the tea pot through. That gave it a great look.  The rose was cut from Artiste and the tag and leaves were cut from Art Philosophy. I hinged the lid and glued another tea pot to the back leaving a pocket for the tea bag.  Oh, one last thing.....I watercolored the rose before I rolled it, beautiful results.

Nov blog hop

Welcome to the Joyful Stars Blog Hop.

Enjoy the hop and the wonderful ideas that we have to share We hope to inspire you.

This month I would like to share with you a Pop Out card for Thanksgiving. This is  my favorite new card technique.  You start with a 8"x5 1/2" piece of cardstock and score it at 2", 3" 5" 6"  Fold it so the center pops out. On the back side you glue a shape only on the left of the fold, that helps it stand up.  Add B and T strips to the front 2 panels and a sentiment in the middle.

This wreath was made using the NEW Cricut cartidge  "Artistry" I cut it out at 3" and water colored the leaves and acorns.
Sangria paper was used for the side panels and they were cut at 5 1/4" x 1 3/4".

The wreath and the words So Thankful , Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving are from the Harvest Wreath  stamp set D1662 .  The wreath was stamped with flaxen, and then sponge dauber parts of the wreath in poppy and fern before it was stamped.
The acorn, tag and the leaf was cut from Artistry all from the acorn key.

This is the back of the card, you only glue the shape to the left side and your card will stand up. Check  out the watercolor technique  called Ombre'  on the tag.   The leaf  was also water colored with  fundamental paper overlay.  Contact me to show you how to do this technique.

Now hop over to my dear friend, Krista's blog, I'm sure you will love what she created.

Artistry card

This is one of the first cuts I made using the new Artistry Cricut cartridge.
This cartridge has a lot of background cut that work well to put on a card.
I cut this a 4"  and gives room for a sentiment at the top or on the bottom.   I would love to see that card done with fall leaves.

October stamp of the month cards

October Stamp of the month cards. Hurry you can only get this stamp set in Oct. Let me know if you would like this set.
Here is my favorite new card technique.   It called a pop out card.  You start with a 8"x5 1/2" piece of cardstock and score it at 2", 3" 5" 6"  Fold it so the center pops out. On the back side you glue a shape only on the left of the fold, that helps it stand up.  Add B&T strips to the front 3 panels and a sentiment in the middle.  Watch for the Thanksgiving card in the next post.

Christmas Card making day

Here are the cards that I taught at the fun
Christmas Card Extravaganza.  This was a swing card using Artfully Sent.  We used the new White Pines paper and compliments.  The little snowflake was cut from the new Artistry Cricut cartridge.  We backed the large snowflake with blue glitter paper and added red bling.

This card was made the new color cardstock Eggplant, blk glitter paper and b&t paper from the La Vie En Rose paper.  Notice the snowflake is from the first card. Silver embossing, Merry Christmas finished it off.

Sorbet paper, Blossum paper, I added  glacier twine to make a handle.  The cut is from Artiste.  Scalloped circle is from Art Philosophy.  It was easy to put together with Design space and the Cricut Explore.  I also did this with our NEW Zoe paper and it looks great.  Have fun hopping....

July Blog hop

Welcome to the July Blog Hop............ Some of us are at Convention in Anaheim, CA drooling over the new Catalog. Thanks to technology we can schedule our posts and still enjoy convention and Disneyland.  Enjoy hoping from one blog to the next to see all the talented creations.

Thanks to CTMH and the Cricut Explore I can customize Relay for Life ribbons.  If anyone wants to support Friends for Life Relay team order your ribbon today.  Any color.  Just contact me at StampN4Joy@aol.com

My oldest Grand daughter will be turning 16 this month. So proud to watch her turn into a beautiful young lady.
I used my Cricut to cut the roses, car and the Sweet 16.  The paper is not CTMH, I wanted something with sparkles, but everything else is.

What a better way to celebrate a 16th birthday is to have a pop-up car on the inside.  The best part was what was behind the car.  What else MONEY!!!!

Now hop over to my friend Nancy to see her fabulous work of art.
