We love to share our ideas and projects that we have been working on. Thanks to Close to My Heart there is always something new. So hop along, look for the highlighted name at the bottom of each post and click on it and hop until you get back to here.
This month I would like to share with you a pop up box card.
I made this card using Sweet baby Stamp and thin cuts. Z3376 on page 55 in the new annual catalog. This stamp set is not just for baby, it's make a great birthday stamp set as well. The samples below could easily be a birthday box.
Compliments were used for the decorations. Adventure paper was used for the flaps and liquid glass was used on the balloons.
Take a 51/2 x 8 1/2 pc of paper and score at 2,4,6,8 turn and score at 2 3/4
Take away one of the 1/2" sections. Cut the corners off the other 1/2" pcs, this will be one the bottom. Cut top scored sections to score line. Fold all flaps down except the back one. Put glue on the remaining 1/2" tab, glue together to form box.
Cut 2 inserts at 3 x 2 3/4 score 1/2" on each side, fold back. Put glue on 1/2" edges of the insert pcs and insert in box. Position the first glue side 1/3 into the box and close box. Do the same with the next insert about 2/3 way into the box. Your box should lie flat to mail when your done.
Behind the pc.of flap that did not get folded glue a 1 3/4" x 5 1/4" This is where you can write a message. The other 3 side can be layered 1 3/4" x 2 1/2"
The balloons are flying in the air by using a strips of clear acetate.
Your next hop will be to the very crafty Krista This month I would like to share with you a pop up box card.

Today I would like to share with you a couple of cuts from our NEW CTMH Cricut cartridge called "You are Here" This cartridge, once again has something for all occasions. Your especially going to like it if you love camping, hiking, outdoor activities. The flower and the leaf is cut from the new cartridge. This was a class I taught on Tuesday and I packed it with new products. Vellum, stamps, rose embossing folder and cricut cuts. Bashful glitter paper and cardstock. ( Color of the Year) Oh my! forgot to use bashful pearls....
Vellum was used on the get well card and the sending you prayers card. We colored the vellum with the achol markers. The stamp set one of my favorites. it comes with 4 stamps that fit on 2x2" blocks. B1563 Sending Prayers.

I made this card to send to my daughter and her husband, congratulating them on their new home. This is also from the new Cricut Cartridge "You are Here". The For Sale sign and the cardboard box was just perfect for this card. The stamp set is pictured below, this set is perfect for many occasions. C1693 Many Congrats.

May blog hop

Welcome to our monthly Joyful Stars blog hop. Enjoy the beautiful artwork from the other consultants, when you get to the bottom of each post look for the highlighted name and click on it.
May is National Scrapbooking month. I wanted to share with you a Z Fold card that we made in class today. I used a retired Mother's day mini stamp. I cut the shape out using the Art Philosophy, stamped it with Thistle and sponged it with Topiary . The gold dots are one of the zip strips in the paper pack called Live Beautifully. You are only seeing two sheets of paper, hopefully when you hop you will see more.
