May Stamp of the month
We made this card in class yesterday, you stamp this card on the inside and cut it half way so the sunflower pops out and covers the inside of the small sunflower.  We used the "Dotty for You" paper on the inside. The stamp used on the front was from the Enjoy the ride stamp set, dots background.

Spring pop folding

Here is a spring fold card that I made using our new springs (Z1725), Stella paperX7147B) and Bamboo cardstock for the base.  The little bee wiggles and also has wiggle eyes.  Pearls were used for the accents. The stamp set is "Bee Happy" B1374 found on page 83
Cocoa and New England Ivy inks were used.
11 1/4 x 4 1/4 score at 2 3/4, 5 5/8, 81/2

score an X as shown in picture
on the first score side 2 3/4 , mark the center on the short side  and fold corners to make triangles.cut off , this will be the top of  the diamond. The  triangles can be used, that is what I used to stamp "CheerUp" for the inside of the card.

Dotty for you

This is a simple card using the Dotty for you paper (on special right  now)  Happy  Birthday   is a  $6.95 stamp  that you can order.

These beautiful black frames were made by Jolene, at talented Consultant under Nancy Brown.  She made these for 2 of the girls on my team, Stephanie and Crystal.  Cutting the letter out with the Cricut and filling them in with our button collection, adding bling and some paper flowers makes a wonderful gift.

This layout using Florentine paper was from Easter, the neat part about this layout was on the left side my picture was supposed to be vertical and not all my family would fit, so I flipped it and made the photo mat horizontal. On the right side, in the bottom 6 squares, I inserted the same picture and just scaled the pictures up to 300% and made it look like one big photo.  Fun

This is a great way to do scrapbooking without getting out all papers and accessories, only to put it away again.  If you have a computer with pictures downloaded, you can do this.  I will be glad to help you get started.

This layout is my grandson Kolby, who just had his 10th birthday. The paper is Superhero and it was perfect for a boys layout. The stars and ribbon and brads were easy to do.  I love the fact that any of the My Stickease can be enlarged or reduced.  The challenge on this page was creating your own argyle across the bottom of the page.

This is a layout featuring my beautiful oldest grand daughter Abrielle, this was the easiest one to do as far as pictures, the stitching was a learning curve. This layout features Stella paper from our new Idea Catalog.

Thursday, April 19, 2012

This layout was the hardest one to come up  with pictures, it was supposed to say "Sweet Baby of mine"  but I didn't have any fresh baby pictures.  So I changed it to Friendships and I changed the background paper to floral because of the all the pink, the other paper had more of an orange to it and it didn't want it to clash.  This paper is our new Pemberly and it was fun the enlarge the flowers and put them behind and in front of each other.

Do I Love Velvet Rub-ons

DSCF0292
NEW PRODUCT Review– Velvet Rub-ons

You will find these on page 127 in the Spring/Summer Idea Book.

I was very impressed and EXCITED when I saw these velvet Rub-ons!!! They truly do feel soft and fuzzy. J

The pack consists of (2) 5x6 sheets and they retail for $4.95.
They come in 2 colors…Dark Chocolate or Black.

Another NEAT thing about these velvet rub-ons… they coordinate with our upcoming MARCH Stamp of the Month stamp set “Potential”!

When using rub-ons, I would suggest you cut out the rub-on image you would like to use. As you cut out the Velvet Rub-ons, cut out and around the flourish image carefully and neatly. Why?? Because you can use both the positive AND negative images! J

The pictures show two cards I made

DSCF0299DSCF0295The left card uses
the positive image,
while the right
uses the negative!!!

Isn’t it great to get the most for your money? You will want to make sure to have these rub-ons on hand for your next CREATIVE project! J
