Mom's Day Out May 11

Cricut club for April

 Cards from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge look hard to make, but they are really fast and easy.

 We made bird houses this month for Cricut club, everything was cut from the Artiste cricut cartridge

Above and below are cards made with slip off sleeves. These are all cut the same  size because they are linked and there is no guess work , if you want to recipe for these, just email me at Stampn4joy@aol.com

Spring Card Making day

If you were lucky enough to attend yesterday's Spring Fling you have these cards to be proud of.

We had 10  CTMH consultants to help prepare for this day. I praise them for all the hard work they did to make a fun day for all.  The food was great and the cards were showcasing all of new spring papers and accessories.

For Always
Crystal made this card which showed using white daisy ink,   June Stamp of the month, markers or colored pencils, black shimmer trim and a special black glitter button.

Chantilly
Liz brought this card for everyone to make using 12 squares and some other shapes using the Cricut. Stamp set is "Happy Thoughts C1536

Claire
Micki designed this card, using Cricut flower shapes from "Girl's Rock" C1538, and the new Happy Birthday set ''Joyful Birthday B1419

Tommy
Betty designed this card using White daisy pigment ink, "Joyful Birthday" B1419 and the chalk marker.  Pinwheels  are popular and easy to make using a square or cutting them out with the Cricut, see the May Stamp of the month.

Later Sk8R
Lori made this card using" A Journey" A1127 , this set also has some really neat pine tree, that would good on a Christmas card. Check this out on page 74 in the spring catalog.  

Buzz and Bumble
Nancy Brown brought this card to make "Country Born  D1443"  stamp set, the flower was from the Workshop on the go stamp set.
The workshop on the go have some great stamp sets, check them out.   

Tommy
Regina made this Tommy card giving everyone a choice, with different  elements and papers. The stamp set was from the Workshop on the go Tommy.

Stacy was not able to attend, but her creative artwork was there.   We got to see alot of her  artwork on the raffle table, she made this hot air balloon,  3-D lamps, picnic baskets and a turtle all with our new paper.  

DREAM POP
This is the card that I brought to make, I wanted to feature  the May Dream Pop  paper  special.  This paper pack comes with  bright colors and resist.  If you look at the flower, you will see shiny lines that can be sponged in all different colors to match any look that you want.  The paper on the left is another paper from Dream Pop and we highlighted it with black shimmer trim.  "Frame it Up"  D1524, was framed with my favorite Joyful Birthday B1419.  I love the new screen stamp D1544 with the black tulle.  

Class cards

Today we made cards that were clean and simple.

This is a sample of the stamp of the month, we loved that fact that the bird and the wing was cut with the Artiste Cricut cartridge, which make this card so easy.  Wait until you see the hot air balloon!

The gears card is a great masculine card and easy to make.  Using the Aritiste Cricut cartridge, the gears are plentiful and there are tons to pick from.

Frames

These are 4x6 frames that make great gifts.  I will have these for sale at the Daniel Boone Craft show this coming Saturday.  I will also have lots of other goodies for Easter, made with the Cricut. 

Stamp of the month

Here is one of the cards that was made with the Stamp of the month.  Sorry I don't know who made it, but it is a good example of how lovely this stamp set is.   Come to class on Tuesday and we may make this card.  

Just Between Friends

This event will be held at the Oaks Expo center March 14,15,16, We will be set up from Wed on and we will be selling Close to my Heart products.  Stop by and tell your friends, this is a great way to say money, great way to see Betty and I and our helpers. Caribbean Tea Party

Next Tuesday we will be having a Caribbean Tea party to celebrate my recent Cruise that I earned from Close To My Heart.  So come ready to party and bring your favorite tea cup and sauces. Feb 19 at 1pm or 7pm.

My daughter got  married and we had 3 weeks to put the wedding together, here are some of the things I made.

This is the center pieces for  for the wedding.  I used our new non-stick scissors  to cut the grip and stick to afix the glass  together and the candle to the center. Love it!
