This month I am sharing a Wedding duo that has just the right words. They are only available this month, you will find them on Page 56 Seasonal expressions #1. Sold separately but go together so well. New Two B1586 and To a Special Couple B1585.
I made this into a 5x7 card and embossed it in silver on Gimme me Some Sugar designer paper. (Doesn't show up to well.) Water colored the flowers and added some pearls. The ribbon is from the Basic Fundamentals pg 47 in Annual catalog. The heart border is a Thin cut found on pg 96 Annual catalog.

March blog hop
Welcome to the Joyful Stars monthly blog hop. We hope to inspire you with our creations. I know every month I get inspired to recreate from our talented group of stampers. I just realized that our next hop in April will be after Easter. So Happy Easter everyone.
We have a wonderful Easter Stamp set that I have been working on and I hope someone in this blog features it. I will be at the Oaks Expo this weekend and I will have it on display.
We also have a terrific sale on thin cuts this month and I choose to show you the fun thin cuts from Stargazer paper.........spaceman, rocket, telescope, stars, etc.

This card was made for a gift card, I showed this card at Christmas time. When you open the card, money or a gift card pops up.
 This card I took a 3" circle and daubed different colors of blue on it and splattered it with white watercolor. Love the look. |
This card really shows the paper in the Stargazer pack, I did the same 3" circle, but this time I used more colors and circle stencil and some white daisy ink and some white watercolor splashes .

| I cut everything with the Cricut, some of the flowers are 3-D This happens to be a 10x10" canvas, but any size would work. I bought 10 in a pack and they were very inexpensive. I added some color on the canvas to take away the stark white. Some I did with watercolor and some I used an ink pad and wiped it across the canvas. |

| I made this gift card holder using our new Die cut . Look below and see the inside and how the gift card fits perfectly inside the box. This could be made into a purse or change and shape and it could be masculine. |

| This is one of newest die cuts, the box is perfect for a gift card. You get a rectangle and an oval as a bonus. Close to my heart also has a stamp set that goes with this die. |

This month I would like to share some cards that I made using our New Cricut cartridge "You are Here" I cut the deer on the first 2 cards at 4" and 3" in white cardstock. The Merry Christmas is a single stamp M1184. This is only available until the end of the month.

November Blog hop

I hope this hop inspires you to make some Thanksgiving cards or Christmas cards, layouts, gifts or even simple cupcake toppers. This month I would like to share with you a gift card holder that I learned from my 2nd upline, Naomi. When you lift the lid the money or gift card pops up. I seem to need a lot of gift card this time of the year.

| I made this gift card holder for my DIL, she loves gift cards. This gift card is using the tag thin cuts. |
I will try to give you directions, I do have it in Cricut Design space, which make this easy.
Start with a 9 3/8 x 5 piece of cardstock. Place the long side across your scorer and score at 3 1/4,
7 3/8 turn it and score down the 9 3/8 side 1/2" on both sides. Save flaps up to the 3 1/4" score, cut off the rest of the 1/2" score sections. Fold in the flaps to make a pocket and glue on each flap.
Cut a piece of cardstock 4 1/2" x 3 5/8" (I prefer white, this is what the gift card sits on)
Score at 1/2" and 3" The half inch score is where the gift card sits, so tuck that into the pocket.
Only glue the 1 1/2" piece to the very top of the card. Don't try to line up the score line that's on the pocket piece. You need that white piece glued to the very top so it raises the gift card up when you open the card. You can put a hook and loop dot on the flap to hold it shut. Z1805 pg 115
