June Joyful Stars blog hop

Welcome to the monthly Joyful Stars Blog Hop.  We are delighted to have you visit and we would like to inspire you to be creative with the ideas that we show you.  So look for the highlighted name at the bottom of each post and hop to that blog and keep hopping until you get back here.  In case you get lost I have a list at the bottom of  this blog.

This month I would like to share with you a Pop and flip card that I made using lots of products from our current idea book.  I am going to do a video, with directions, tomorrow night with my VIP FB group.  This is a private group, you must ask to join.  The page is called Joyce Houck
Close to My Heart.
I used Stitched Together for the paper x7257B  pg 14 with a little of Mix in X9015 pg 22 on the inside.  I also used the Stitched Together Cricut collection pg 15. You can order that by going to your consultants website and scroll to the bottom, look for the Cricut icon and click on that.

I also used the July Stamp of the month for the words. S2007 sneak preview

Your card flips over and gives a good surprise.

Now is the time to hop to my friend Betty Locco's page

May Blog hop

Welcome to May Joyful Stars Blog Hop!

Happy Mother's Day!

This month we have a new catalog to share with you and that means new stamps and accessories.

To do the hop, simply look for the Highlighted name at the bottom of each post and keep hopping until you get back here.

I wanted to share with you my favorites. First up is the Hello Lady bug B1703 on page 44 of the
May - June catalog. To cut the Ladybug you can get the Ladybug Shaker Window Thin Cuts Z3710.
I made mine without the shaker. The wings are using the Blue skies cardstock on page 42.
Notice the shine, the paper has a glossy UV coated pattern.  The dots were stamped and colored with the black shimmer brush.

Second card was made with the Pinwheel Thin cuts CC5204. I used a coffee stirrer for the stem. I used the mix-in paper from last catalog and the diamond paper from Stitched Together X7257S.

The words are from the stamp of the month Time to Celebrate S2005

This pin wheel is using paper from Stitched Together.  and the Stamp of the month.

This card was made for my dear mother using another favorite A Million Little Things D1925.
I also used May Stamp of the month.

Here is a close up of the layered flower.
Hope everyone has a great mother's day!

April Blog Hop

Happy Easter!

Welcome to our monthly Joyful Stars blog hop!

Every month on the 10th we share with you what we have been working on. You can hop from blog to blog and get tons of inspiration from these very talented ladies.   Simply look for the highlighted name at the bottom of the post and click on it, you will hop to the next blog. Keep hopping until you get back here.

This month I decided to go with the Easter theme, since Easter is on Sunday.  I used our new bunny stamp set A1246 and the stitched circle and rectangle frame.....notice the color of the paper.  This our new holographic paper Dreamy or Oasis. Dreamy is the one I used on this card. Z3635  Oasis Z3636. You won't see this in our current catalog, but it is available. It's always fun to shimmer brush the bow.

Now it's time to hop over to Marie'a blog and see what she is working on.
                Easter Blessings Everyone!

The first card I would like to share with you is a card I made for my Grand neice.  I used a combination of two stamp set.  C1823 Rainbow wishes  (Online only) and Unicorn Dreams C1833 New catalog page 29.  This card spins and has the words ...happy... sunny.....perfect......sunny....special.  The spinner cards are a great investment.  We now have 4 different ones with more to come.  The new catalog has a cuckoo clock (pg 25) and  fly by greetings (pg 30).  Also the gum ball machine.I Chews You Z3644 (online only)

Z3626 This is the die that makes all the spinners

This card is using the Stamp of the month S2003 (flowers) and the Yesterday and Today Cardmaking stamp set. C1828 page 6 in the new catalog.  The bow is one of  8 thin cuts.
